IT LIVES!!

I Have Created the ULTIMATE BLASPHEMY!!

Our computer now works. To hold in the DVD-ROM drive, I screwed screws in half way, and then put zip ties aroun the screws and around the holes in the case, securing it. I then sured the hard drive by screwing a long screw into it that let it rest on the DVD drive. I then secured it to the back of the case, but it was still able to be flipped up if necessary. It was necessary to put theb hard drive in upside down, but it still works just as good.

The next step was attaching the front panel. I pushed out the old power button, and then put the power switch facing out. You need small fingers or a screwdriver to turn it on, but it works. The next step was to zip tie it to the old speaker mount.

Next, I put in the power supply. I decided to have it hang from the top, from zip ties again. The power cord goes though the same hole, and it is out of the way of the rest of the hardware.

The next step was to mount the motherboard on its wooden platform. I was told I would need to ground it and not let it touch the wood. Therefore, i put spacers in between the mobo and the wood. I screwed in some screws through the mobo screw holes.

The next step was to do a full system test. The first couple of times the computer didn't start up, and we checked the cables, fixed one, and tried again. The computer started up, but didn't display anything. The next day, I was going to try a new power supply, but first we rearanged the RAM, and it started. I secured the mobo n its place. Now all I need is an LCD monitor, as the hard drive has everything we need.
